Myofascial Release to Release Restrictions, Restore Freedom, and Reconnect with Your Body

A Collaborative Approach to Healing
Feel Better in Your Body. Live More Fully in Your Life.
Myofascial Release is not something that is done to you—it is a process we move through together.
Each session begins with a conversation about your goals, symptoms, and how you are experiencing your body. We assess posture, movement patterns, areas of restriction, and your body's unique responses to stress and compensation.
Your body has a story to tell. Through evaluation, treatment, and your lived experience of being in your body, we work together to identify and release patterns of tension, pain, stress, and unresolved trauma that may be contributing to your symptoms.
By listening to the body's signals and following its lead, we create an environment where deeper healing can unfold naturally.
The goal is not simply to reduce pain but to help you move toward a life that feels more active, comfortable, and free.
Sarah's Training & Experience
Sarah was first introduced to Myofascial Release Therapy in 2017 while practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Throughout her clinical training and career, she learned a variety of specialized treatment approaches to help people improve breathing, speech, voice, cognition, swallowing, and overall function. While these therapies were often highly effective, she noticed that some individuals continued to struggle despite everyone's best efforts.
Myofascial Release was often the missing piece.
She witnessed people who had plateaued in their recovery begin making progress again. She saw individuals accomplish goals that they—and sometimes even their healthcare providers—thought might not be possible. Time and again, she observed how releasing restrictions within the body created opportunities for improved function, comfort, and healing.
These experiences sparked a deep passion for understanding the fascial system and its profound influence on health and well-being.
Today, Sarah is a Licensed Massage Therapist who specializes in the John Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach®. Her training includes Myofascial Release I, Myofascial Release II, Fascial Pelvis, Cervical-Thoracic, and Pediatric Myofascial Release seminars.
She continues to deepen her understanding through ongoing education, regular treatment sessions, and personal practice because she believes the best practitioners are also committed students of the work.
Sarah combines her background in health sciences, clinical experience, massage therapy, and intuitive healing practices to provide treatment that honors the whole person—not just a diagnosis or symptom.

What to Expect During Your Session
Myofascial Release is performed without oils or lotions so that the fascia can be engaged directly. Treatment often includes sustained holds, gentle stretching, movement, and hands-on techniques designed to identify and release restrictions throughout the body.
For your comfort and ease of movement, please wear loose-fitting athletic shorts and a tank top, sports bra, or similar comfortable clothing.
Every session is guided by your body's responses and your personal goals. Together, we'll create a treatment plan that helps you move toward greater freedom, comfort, and well-being.
Feel More at Home in Your Body
Your body has an incredible capacity to heal when given the right support.
Myofascial Release Therapy can help you release what is holding you back, restore natural movement and alignment, and reconnect with the comfort, freedom, and vitality that are your body's natural state.
Healing Happens in Layers
Many clients experience meaningful changes after a single Myofascial Release session. They may notice reduced pain, increased mobility, improved posture, deeper breathing, or a greater sense of ease throughout their body.
At the same time, lasting change often happens through consistency.
Most restrictions develop gradually over years of injury, stress, repetitive movement patterns, emotional experiences, surgeries, and daily life. Because these patterns are often deeply embedded within the fascial system and nervous system, healing is typically a process of unwinding and restoring balance layer by layer.
Each session builds upon the progress of the last, creating healing momentum that allows the body to continue releasing restrictions and adapting to healthier patterns.
As tension and pressure decrease, the body can spend more time in a state of rest, repair, and recovery—where deeper healing and transformation become possible.
The 6-Session Healing Journey
For clients seeking meaningful and lasting results, I offer a package of six Myofascial Release sessions.
This package provides the consistency needed to support long-term change. Rather than starting over with each visit, we build upon previous progress, allowing your body to continue releasing restrictions, improving alignment, and restoring healthier movement patterns.
Purchase a package of 6 sessions and save $100.
Sessions must be used within 3 months.
Whether your goal is reducing chronic pain, improving posture, recovering from injury, increasing mobility, or simply feeling more comfortable in your body, a series of treatments can provide the support and momentum needed for lasting transformation.
Specialized Pediatric Training
Sarah brings a unique perspective to pediatric Myofascial Release through her background in Health Sciences and Speech-Language Pathology, where she received extensive education in childhood development, anatomy, neurology, sensory processing, communication, feeding and swallowing, and nervous system function.
Before becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist, Sarah worked closely with children and families to support developmental goals and improve quality of life. Through this experience, she developed a deep appreciation for the many ways physical, sensory, emotional, and developmental factors influence a child's ability to thrive.
Today, Sarah combines this developmental foundation with specialized training in John Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach®, massage therapy, Reiki, and holistic healing. This allows her to view each child as a whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms or diagnoses.
By creating a safe and nurturing environment, Sarah helps children build trust in their bodies, improve body awareness, release tension, and develop healthier movement patterns that support their long-term growth and well-being.
Her goal is simple: to help children feel more comfortable, confident, and at home in their bodies so they can fully engage in the activities, relationships, and experiences that matter most.
Myofascial Release for Children
Children's bodies are constantly growing, adapting, and developing. Along the way, they can experience physical tension, movement restrictions, postural imbalances, injuries, stress, and challenges related to sensory processing or body awareness.
Myofascial Release offers a gentle, child-centered approach that supports healthy movement, comfort, and overall well-being. Because the fascial system influences posture, movement, breathing, and nervous system function, releasing restrictions can help children feel more comfortable, coordinated, and at ease in their bodies.
Many families seek Myofascial Release to support children who are experiencing:
• Growing pains and physical discomfort
• Sports-related injuries or repetitive strain
• Postural challenges
• Tension related to stress or anxiety
• Movement restrictions and decreased flexibility
• Coordination and body awareness difficulties
• Sensory processing challenges
• Recovery from injury, surgery, or other physical stressors
• Difficulty relaxing or settling into restful sleep
Treatment is always adapted to your child's age, developmental level, personality, and comfort. Sessions may include movement, play, conversation, breathing exercises, gentle hands-on techniques, or other approaches that help your child feel safe, engaged, and supported throughout the process.
The goal is not only to reduce symptoms, but to help children develop greater ease, confidence, and freedom within their growing bodies.
Myofascial Release Testimonials
I started working with Sarah after learning about reiki and hearing its holistic approach to heal body and spirit. Sarah’s services are exactly that. Her healing approach is tailored to you. At 27 years old, I was suffering from sports injuries and restrictions in mobility. Not only did my injury severities lessen, mobility increased, and my spirit and attitude greatly improved. I highly recommend Sarah’s work if you want to experience a healing technique that focuses on pinpoint accuracy, energy shifts, and raising spiritual vibrations. She’s very personable and wants to help her patients.

Sarah has helped me in so many ways! After I was a passenger in a double head on collision in 2025 and going through surgery, I was really struggling. Since I didn't want to take pain medication and couldn't see a massage therapist so soon into my recovery, I felt there weren't many options in what I could do to help my healing process. Thankfully when inquiring with Sarah about a yoga class, she gave me info on reiki treatments and Myofascial release she was also offering. I decided to give it a try and I'm so happy I did. I am still healing and have gone through a roller-coaster of physical things over the past year. Sarah's practice has been there for me to offer treatments that were gentle enough to help me work through things as they came up. She's been a real sanctuary of peace for me and I'd highly recommend consulting her. Best of luck to you!

Sarah is a true healer. She understands the science behind how the body works and its connections, as well as masterfully reading the energy within each area of your body. My career has literally been extended thanks to Sarah helping me heal my shoulder, hands, hip, knee, and feet with Myofascial Release. She taught me how to help myself between sessions to continue to release the fascia in other areas as well. Her guided reiki meditations in combination with Myofascial release offer a feeling of rest and relaxation that I don’t even always get from a 7 hour sleep! I couldn’t recommend her more.
